Can Walls Self-Repair?
Can walls repair itself? Apparently, a scientist by the name of Hank Jonkers from Delft University had discovered the solution to self healing concrete.
How does this work?
A special bacteria is chosen for the job. Concrete provides a very dry and harsh environment. So the bacteria that is chosen for the job has to be able to survive under such conditions. When there is a crack, water enters the wall and the bacteria is activated. The bacteria creates limestone which heals the cracks. Watch the video to learn more.
